Questions

Will it slow my website down?

No. The script loads after your page has displayed, is compressed to a small file, and is cached by the browser. Searches are answered from a server in Sydney.

What happens if the search is unavailable?

Your search box falls straight back to Neto's own search, so shoppers can always search. The same happens if your subscription ends.

Does it work with my theme?

It works with Neto's standard search box, which almost every Neto theme uses. It picks up your website's colours automatically, and you can set them yourself.

Can my customers still add to cart from search?

Yes, straight from the results. Products with options open the product page so the shopper can choose. You can hide the button, or show it only to logged-in customers.

Do you change anything in my Neto store?

No. We only read products through the API key you give us. You can switch the key off in Neto at any time.

What about my shoppers' privacy?

We record searches and page visits to show you statistics, using an anonymous browser ID. For logged-in customers we record their Neto username so you can see who searched. Details are in the privacy policy.
